Originally from Belfast, playwright and director Nicola McCartney now lives and works in Scotland where she is Artistic Director of Scotland's lookOUT Theatre Company, a new writing and touring company. She has written and directed most of lookOUT's work to date. McCartney was appointed Playwright-in-Residence at the University of Ulster, Coleraine.
