Maggie Cronin is an award winning actress and writer. She has an MA in Creative Writing from Queen's University Belfast; her one woman shows Greenstick Boy and A Most Notorious Woman have been performed across the world and her short stories broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio Ulster. A Most Notorious Woman won the Stewart Parker Trust/ BBC Radio Drama Award in 1995 and The Tyrone Guthrie Centre Regional Bursary at Annaghmakerrig in 1996. Full length plays include The Handsome Cabin Girl and Kitty Gulliver. Shrieking Sisters, a dramatised history of The Ulster Suffragettes, was co - written with actress Carol Moore, premiered at Belfast City Hall in March 2013, as part of the "Decade of Centenaries" programme and continues to tour. Maggie is part of a mentoring scheme run by Fishamble The New Play Company and The Pavilion Theatre, Dun Laoghaire.
