Fergus Linehan was born in Malaya in 1934 but returned to Ireland with his parents as a young child. He is the author of numerous musicals and revues, such as 'Fair Game', 'Funnybones' and Black Rosie'. Among his two-hander revues, written for Des Keogh and Rosaleen Linehan, are 'Two For Joy' and 'Just Good Friends'. He wrote for television and radio, and was Film Critic and Arts Editor with the Irish Times newspaper. He also wrote two novels, 'Under the Durian Tree'(1995) and 'The Safest Place' (1998).
