Róise Goan was born in Dublin and studied Drama and Theatre Studies at Trinity College. She is a writer, director and producer, and has worked for the Ark, the Project Arts Centre and the Dublin Youth Theatre amongst others. She has also worked as a script writer for 'Ros na Rún' and 'Aifric' on TG4. She was also a founding member and Company Director of Randolf SD The Company. In 2008, Róise was appointed as Director of Dublin Fringe Festival which she led for five years. She lives in Dublin.
