Micheál Mac Liammóir
Set on a Mailboat and in a Cafe in Ireland
Set in the fictional state of Cardomam - a fence sitting state between East and West - and performed to the rules of the Classical Theatre of Cardomam, where no scenery is used, and the actors introduce and explain themselves. This satirical comedy has as its central character, a breezy old cynic of a Prime Minister who finds politics fun and has ambitions for his son. No men survive the authors wrath, admin-men, admen, Tellymen, Pollymen, soldiermen, no men... At the end the only man left lectures to a bunch of post-fallout children.
