Come Down from the Mountain John Clown, John Clown was originally presented at the Factory Performance Space as part of the Sligo Arts Festival in August, 1993. The play was subsequently refined and presented alongside productions of 'Macbeth' and 'Half Eight Mass of a Tuesday' (listed separately) at the Project Arts Centre, Dublin on July 5th, 1994 as part of the inaugural 'Festival of Barabbas'.
Come Down from the Mountain John Clown, John Clown is a full-length clowning show, performed in red nose, which follows the little lives of Veronica Clown, erstwhile entrepreneur, Mikel Clown, political correspondent and Raymond Clown, unemployed. Comic and tragic, it is a show of few words.
