Bairbre is a Dublin-based writer and a graduate of Trinity College Dublin's MPhil in Creative Writing programme. She is co-founder of Runcible Spoon Theatre Company along with director Clare Maguire. In 2014 she worked with Clare, to bring to stage the real-life stories of two young adults raised in state care. A Day in the Life of Me and Nine Years, Five Beds were performed as part of the Under My Bed project at Smock Alley Theatre.
