Kevin Grattan was born in Dublin and studied acting at the National Academy of Theatre Arts and the Abbey School of Acting. His plays for television include 'People in Glass Houses', 'Briarsville Forever', and 'Payoff'. He has written for the RTE television series, 'The Riordans' and Wanderly Wagon'.
