Brian Lynch

Brian Lynch was born in 1945. He worked as a journalist with the Evening Press, and as art critic for Hibernia Magazine. He has worked as information officer for the Dept. of Justice. He has had two collections of poetry published: "Endville" and "No Die Cast". His 1979 play 'Crooked in the Car Seat' was nominated in the Best Play category of the 1979 Harvey's Theatre Awards. His 2005 novel 'The Winner of Sorrow' was shortlisted for the Hughes & Hughes Book of the Year Award. Brian Lynch is a member of Aosdána. He lives in Dublin.
