Martin Drury is best known for his development of work for young audiences, both in his capacity as Artistic Director of Team Educational Theatre Company (1981 to 1985) and as Founder-Director of the Ark (1992-2001), Europe's only custom-designed arts centre for children. He has worked as a director for Second Age Theatre Company, Opera Theatre Company, Druid and for the Abbey Theatre. Drury also works as an arts consultant and researches, writes and teaches on arts policy and practice. He is an Honorary Fellow of the Department of Psychology at UCD.
