Born in Dublin and raised in Youghal, County Cork, Moynihan is a playwright and performer. She has acted extensively in Ireland and in the UK as well as appearing on the RTÉ series Fair City and The Clinic. Her two-part radio play, Cider Queens, was first broadcast on RTÉ Radio 1 in March 2009, and won the 2009 Zebbie Award for Best Radio Drama.
