    ‘Spraoi in the park’ is a new event launched by Spraoi in 2009. It takes place o the first weekend in July and it is focused in and around the beautiful surroundings of the Peoples Park in Waterford City. It hosts a wide variety of family friendly entertainment including puppet shows, live music, workshops, and street performances. This year’s festival will include a circus style tent which will host puppet shows and workshops by day and a cinema at night.

    The undoubted highlight of the event is the much loved Spraoi Parade which takes place on the Sunday afternoon. The parade winds its way around the park and on its new extended route it can accommodate more spectators than ever. A must see event!
