Baile | Eolas | Déan Teagmháil Linn
Marie Jones (1)
The play is suitable for children of 13 years and older. It was commissioned by the Health Promotion Agency for Northern Ireland, to form part of an active study package which could easily be integrated into a school’s existing programme of health education or personal and social education.
Life is a dream for Julie-Anne as long as she stays in her room and reads the latest issue of Yours, Truly magazine. Her mum, Sue, wishes they could be a proper family. But things haven't worked out that way. Julie-Anne's friend, Nicki, is teetering on the verge of disaster. Nicki's boyfriend, Jason, is giving her a hard time and Nicki's brother, Tony, is in a right mess. The play highlights dilemmas faced by today's teenagers in making decisions about relationships and sexuality.
