A Dockside Pub in Liverpool and A Flat in Central London.
A double bill, the first, "The Looser" is set in a squalid dockside pub in Liverpool. The player of the title role is a young Welsh sailor, an untouched innocent, who gets tangled up with a couple of Scousettes. The second part, "The Winner", has a Noel Coward West-End setting with a lapsed husband returning to his luxury apartment finding his ex-wife in the arms of a stuffy escort.
