Baile | Eolas | Déan Teagmháil Linn
John Boyd
A small farmhouse some miles from Belfast. Time is the present.
A study of family relationships, in which Old McCann, a shipyard worker, determines to renovate the run-down family farm and homestead, but discovers it has been bequeathed to his son Eddie, who feels little connection with the land and wants to sell it. Divided loyalties result in the already fragile familial grouping.
