Baile | Eolas | Déan Teagmháil Linn
Michelle Read
Anna has moved to Ireland in order to find the inspiration to write a 'proper' novel but instead she's hardly off the boat before she's met a man, fallen in love and been jilted. The play is set one night, three weeks later, when Anna wakes up in a drunken stupor to find two of the characters from her latest 'bodice ripper' large as life in her living room. The ensuing discussion with the chirpy, cockney maid servant Minnie Crabtree and the dashingly, heroic Lord Beaston, helps Anna to get her life, not to mention her plotlines, back into shape.
