Marie Jones (1)
Belfast, 1989
A play for 14-18 year olds examining the environmental concerns and responsibilities of young people in Northern Ireland.
Tracey is a bored 16-year-old attempting, for the sake of her mother's sanity, to keep peace between the Gothics, led by her brother, Soup, and the Psychobillies, featuring Aggro and Dodo. Terrified by a vision of Belfast as an environmental disaster spot 40 years from now, Tracey galvanises all parties into attempting to save the local youth centre from the clutches of an American fast-food chain.
