Damian Gorman
A play with songs for 14-18 year olds.
Davy Mental is fed up with being normal. He wants to stand out from the crowd. He wants to be admired. He wants to be special, not like his workaday father. But is alcohol the answer? Despite warnings from those around him, nineteen-year-old Davy keeps trying to be different until one day, following a scene he has created at the funeral of a friend, he disappears. Months later, his father is still missing him, despite everything, but Davy simply knows he had to go.
