Seamus Keenan is a poet, prose writer and playwright. His short film for the BBC, Do Armed Robbers have Love Affairs (co-written with Ronan Bennett), won awards in Italy, Canada and was short-listed in the regional programme category for Royal Television Society Awards in 2002. In 2004 he won the Hennessey New Irish Writer Award.
