1907 - 1974
Born in Dublin, Deale worked as a barrister and later a judge. Publications arising from his career include A Guide to High Court Practice (1941), Landlord and Tenant Acts of 1931 and 1943 (1952), and Memorable Irish Trials (London 1960). He wrote many plays for radio and television. His stage play, The Conspiracy, was produced by the Abbey Theatre.
