John Wilson Foster

John Wilson Foster was born and raised in Belfast, educated in Eugene, Oregon, and now lives in Portaferry, Co. Down. He is a freelance writer and literary critic and an honorary research fellow at Queen's University Belfast. He has published three books on RMS Titanic and twelve other books on Irish, English and American literature, natural history, and Irish culture. His play 'A Better Boy', based on the life of Thomas Andrews, designer of the Titanic, was premiered aboard a barge in Belfast in 2012.
