Ernest Gébler

1915 - 1998

Ernest Gébler was born in Dublin in 1915, the son of the Czech musician Adolf Gébler. A well-known novelist and playwright, dramatic work not listed here includes 'A Spaniard in Galway' and 'Call Me Daddy'. Ernest Gébler was a member of Aosdána. He died in Dublin in 1998.
