Galway Fringe Festival is Galway's only open-access, multi-disciplinary arts festival which hosts some of the best talent Galway has to offer as well attracting many great international acts. The Festival encompasses visual art, music, theatre, dance, literature, cabaret, circus, street spectacle and children's events. The Galway Fringe Festival aims to provide a platform for local artists to perform and showcase their work and to elicit new artistic developments across all Art forms. The Galway Fringe Festival encourages Irish Language Arts through storytelling, music, dance and new writing and to present this to an international audience. The Galway Fringe Festival’s ultimate aim is to bring the Arts into the community, to provide employment for Artists and to benefit the socio-economic and cultural life of Galway City and County now and into the Future.
