In the original production, the play was performed on the host sets of: 0800 Cupid by Emer Dineen; Sandpaper on Sunburn by David Horan; Amelia by Dee Roycroft; Agreement by Owen McCafferty; Safehouse by Enda Walsh and Anna Mullarkey; A Knock on the Roof by Khawla Ibraheem; The Jesus Trilogy by Eoghan Quinn; and Content by Ross Dungan.
A mismatched trio rent a house owned by an elderly woman now living her last days in a nursing home. Unlikely housemates, they try to find a connection in the short time they’re here – and a space for themselves amongst the stuff of her entire life. A play about people living in someone else's home, it is conceived for the stages of other people’s plays, designed to be performed pre-show on the sets of other people’s productions.
