Shared first prize in the Abbey Play competition in 1931 (the other winner was Paul Vincent Carroll's 'Things That Are Caeser's'. See separate listing for details)
Newly evicted from their home and grieving the recent loss of their child, the destitute couple Min and Michael are faced with a desperate struggle for survival. When Michael accidently comes across some stolen money, his first instinct is to hand it over to the police. His wife sees the situation differently, however, and the couple find themselves confronted with a stark moral choice.
