As the family packs for a bargain holiday in Spain, Mother is worried because Dad just lost his job. Dad decides not to worry about the job until the holiday is over. Their daughters, Emer and Aisling, are fighting. Emer, the youngest, is grieving for Sandy, her dog. Aisling is getting the blame for fighting because she is the eldest. As the division between the adults and the children grows, the play explores how adult experiences like unemployment and separation can affect the children of the families involved and how one little lie can spiral out of control to cause chaos in everyone's life.
