Declan Burke-Kennedy

1944 -

Born in Co Offaly, Declan Burke-Kennedy was a founder member of the Focus Theatre, where he directed many productions, and for which he wrote several plays beginning with The Trespasser, produced in 1973. He has also written the novels Robert's Alibi (O'Brien Press, 1988) and Leonie (Poolbeg, 1995).
