Tim Loane lives in Belfast and has worked extensively as a writer, director and actor in film, television and theatre. He co-founded Tinderbox Theatre Company in 1988 and was joint Artistic Director until 1996. Loane's screenwriting credits include 'Out of the Deep Pan' and 'Ballykissangel' for BBC Northern Ireland and he was creator and lead writer of 'Teachers' for Channel 4. He directed the multi award-winning short film, 'Dance Lexie Dance', nominated for an Academy Award in 1997. 'Caught Red Handed', his first stage play, was produced by Tinderbox in 2002.
