Passendale, Belgium, 1917
Mo Coutts, a London Kitchener volunteer, is arrested for refusing to go over the top during the 3rd Battle of Passchendaele in 1917. Willie Harvey is a Belfast man ordered who arrests him, and regards him as nothing but a coward. Handcuffed together as they await Mo's Court Marshal, each is forced to reassess his opinion on the war.
