Stella Feehily
London, the present day.
Hildy is a forty-something social worker and sometime idealist whose life is spiralling into chaos. She is divorcing her husband, her son is trying to kick his heroin habbit, her once glamourous mother has taken to the drink and her troublesome father is a nursing home. Through it all Hildy tries to cling to her social ideals, leading a group of low-paid cleaners in their fight against their capitalist bosses. Can she hold it all together?
