A Factory. A Dockside Public House. A Room in a Tenement. A Bedroom in the House of Ultan T. Ferriter. A Theatre Bar.
Yvonne Artois, an artist, is giving an exhibition of her work. There are the usual bearded young men wearing corduroy in attendance. A tinker arrives and she has an epiphany about the shallowness of her life and goes off on an odyssey with her traveller guide through different milieus of the city.
