Robin Glendinning
The garden of a large house in an Ulster village.
Summerhouse is a study of alcoholism and family conflict, interwoven with songs from the Church of Ireland hymn book. The play also serves as a metaphor for the Northern Ireland conflict witnessing decline, decay and loss of identity.
