The play is set in London and Dublin over four months in 1999.
Kate is a successful gay career woman, living in London who grapples for identity in the wake of her estranged Irish mother's death. A new relationship develops with a Dublin cousin, taking Kate on a journey back to Ireland and into her own soul. This is a modern tale charting the loves and hopes of two Irish women, the hidden history of the mother shadowing the destiny of the daughter.
