Car Show involves four concurrent performances, each set in a different car. An audience of three witnesses each fifteen minute performance. Car Show 3 comprises Generations devised by Alan King and Colin Thornton under the direction of Darren Thornton; Trunk Call devised by Veronica Coburn with Emmet Kirwan and Elizabeth Duffy; Solid by Eugene O'Brien; and Charlotte's Web devised by Karen Egan and Tom Murphy under the direction of Annie Ryan.
Solid: Dot com couple. Business in trouble. Dinner party in two hours that could save the day. Confessions exchanged. Things may never be the same. Trunk Call: A couple engage in wacky antics and bondage to boot. Generations: A touching break-up between a Trekkie and his young lover. Charlotte’s Web: A Lithuanian dish washer pours his heart out to a waitress, who confesses her love.
