Micheál Lovett
Set in a rural Irish village in the 1970's, this play is centred around the Brennan family whose innermost fears and secrets are laid bare as the story progresses. Caught out of time and at an age where it is not customary for exchanges between mothers, sons and extended family members, the play attempts to capture the stagnated relationships in one family. Written in the colloquial language of rural Kerry, the family business of undertaking the dead sets the tone for this black comedy.
