Raymond Scannell
Set in Cork in the 1980's.
Based on the closure of two of Cork's largest employers in the 1980's, Ford and Dunlop, and the devastating effect it had on the city, 'Losing Steam' centres on two families caught up in this economic crisis on different levels and portrays the effect it had on their lives.
